Flag Arrival Time: 5/23/25 - Ride to KS and ride back to Harley Davidson World arrival time approximately 1pm.
Meeting at On Cue @ 4100 E 15th St, Edmond, OK at 5:30am (KSU 6am) I35 N to AML 408 Derby, KS. (KSU 8:30am). Ride back to Harley Davidson World with break stops along the way planned by the KS team.
Venue Details: Harley-Davidson World 6904 W Reno Ave Oklahoma City OK
Ceremony Details: 30-40 minutes after arrival at Harley Davidson World. American and Oklahoma flags posted by Flag Poles Honoring Our Veterans - Pledge of Allegiance. Brief remarks given by RC Craig and RC Ryan. KS flag bearer will be parked in place of honor by NOP and FPHOV merchandise tents along with donation box posted at table. Tour Flag will be folded by myself and another team member while my daughter, Keilie, reads the 13 Folds. I will then present the flag back to KS and read the Flag Bearers pledge. KS will present the flag to Joe Qualls this year's Oklahoma Flag Bearer. We will have a food truck and vendors on site to have a fun bike night event at Harley Davidson World. We will then be leaving HDW around 6:15pm and ride to Saloon 7 @ 4120 Newcastle Rd, OKC, OK. There dinner will be available for a donation to Nation of Patriots and beverages of your choice will be available for purchase from the Saloon.
Flag Departure Time: 5/24/25 - Meeting at On Cue @ 1 SE 35th St, OKC, OK at 7:30am (KSU 8am).
Route Information: We will be riding south on I35 with our 1st break at Love's Travel Stop, Ardmore, OK. 2nd break will be Buc-ees, Denton, TX and final destination AML Post 453, 2755 Bachman Dr, Dallas, TX. Uncertain at this time if the kitchen will be open at the AML. If not we will ride to food after the flag exchange ceremony. Ride to TX approximate arrival time 1pm.
Flag Bearer: Supply Petty Officer Joe Qualls served in the Navy for 6 years and was in combat during Gulf War. Joe was born in northern California and decided to join the military to escape an abusive home life. During his service he suffered an injury to his left foot that has left him 100% disabled. Joe has overcome so many obstacles in his life, but still decides to give back to the Veteran community that has become his family. This is Joe's 2nd year on the Patriot Tour and has become a valuable member of the NOPOK committee.
